I think the reception by Marie-An and her husband was excellent. She was able to give enough information and offer assistance where needed. The suite was in excellent condition and very cosy. There are nice places to go to for breakfast as well as for pre-dinner drinks and dinner. Everything is in walking distance. I just wished I had spent a couple more nights to just relax!
I loved the idea that my suite was on the ground floor. The hot water was too hot! I forgot to mention upon my checkout but other than that room was comfortable.

The hostess was very kind - she turned on the heat for us as it was a bit chilly, windy and rainy. Her personality made us feel very much at home. The room was spacious, very clean with white bedding. It was also nice that there were coffee and tea making facility as well as a refrigerator. And an easy access to wifi without having to have to ask/beg for it - a problem at most other hotels. The whole experience was cozy, relaxing and comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel.

Great room size and facilities, very clean and well supported. Its location in Zandvoort is perfect to explore Amsterdam, keukenhof, and be by a beach without the high prices. The staff extremely helpful and friendly. Train to Amsterdam is 28 minutes and leaves/returns twice an hour, round trip is under ten euro. Keukenhof is 20 minutes south and the beach is two minutes away by foot. Also there are several supermarkets nearby.
Only two tiny complaints: the internet in the bottom rooms (annex) is a very weak signal, it works, but not by much. Also the parking is expensive (6 Eur) per day and quite far (about 300 meters) from the hotel. Good thing is you dont need a car if you are there so you can park it far away and forget about it. Overall an awesome hotel at great price close to a lot of great things, very large rooms for an European budget hotel.

Good location in Zandvoort, quite relaxing and comfortable in general, owners / managers quite flexible and accomodating.
Not quite a quality hotel you could expect for 85 euro / night.

Nice Small Hotel. Excellent staff who will help with anything. Even gave us a lift when unable to get taxi. No Breakfast available or food but plenty of choice just over the road in centre of Zandvoort.

The rooms at Doppenberg were spacious and well-appointed. We were lucky to have been upgraded to a deluxe room on the first floor. The room was large, with a comfortable bed and a luxurious shower. We also had a huge patio overlooking the street, perfect for enjoying the atmosphere of the town. Another room we had was a bit more basic but still very nice. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to the beach and within walking distance of many attractions.
Although there were a few drawbacks, such as spotty desk service and some requests not being fulfilled, these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall positive experience. The parking situation was also not ideal, as it was a short walk away from the hotel, but the affordable price of €7.50 for 24 hours made up for it.
